Letter from Stacey:

I’m so glad you’re here. If you’ve made it this far, it means you’re looking for help with some health issues that perhaps medical doctors can’t quite put their finger on. Or maybe they are offering you handfuls of medications to address what you’ve got going on and that just doesn’t feel right to you. Whatever the reason, I can help. I’ve been in your shoes and I know how frustrating it can be to try to find your way to feeling good again.

I suffered for MANY years with digestive issues that so many doctors just couldn’t figure out. All of my blood work and various tests (oh, SO many tests!) came back ‘normal’ so I was often left behind and told my symptoms were either in my head (PTSD from 10 years in the military was a common diagnosis I was given) or just my new ‘normal’ and to learn to live with them.

I was certainly not ok with living life feeling terrible, so I set out to heal myself on my own. I dove into diet and researched and experimented with new ways of eating and learned so much about our standard farming practices and what certain foods truly do to our bodies. Leaky gut became an obsession of mine and I declared battle with it, as I knew that was what was happening in my own gut! I immersed myself in ways to heal the gut naturally using SAFE supplements and FOOD as MEDICINE. Yes, food as medicine. It’s a simple thing that so many of us have overlooked.

I made a vow to myself after so many years of seeing so many different types of health practitioners, that when I healed myself, I would find a way to help others. The thought of someone else going through what I had gone through made me so incredibly sad.

I no longer see one-on-one clients because I found I was able to help more people get the advice they need and their burning questions answered through group classes.

In 2003, Stacey was shipped off to Kuwait to continue working as a combat trained Hospital Corpsman.  Upon her return home, she enrolled in and completed her Master's Degree in Education and began teaching.

In 2005 she met and married her amazingly supportive husband.  They now have a 13 year old daughter and an 8 year old son...both of which keep them laughing and busy every day!
